Decades of Immigration and Naturalization Law Experience

We do family visas, employment visas and special visas. Our attorney, Mr. Weinman, has almost three decades of experience helping people with immigration and naturalization.

Our clients have included individuals, corporations and religious institutions. They come from the U.S., Korea, Europe, Mexico and the rest of Latin America, China, India and numerous other countries. United States immigration and naturalization law is a maze of statutes, regulations, rules and procedures. There are many different kinds of visas. There are B-1 and B-2 visas for temporary business visitors and tourists; there are also E-2, H-1, H-1B, L-1 and K-1 visas. There are forms to fill out, fees to pay, deadlines, limitations and restrictions. This is not a process that the average person can easily handle. This is work for an experienced immigration lawyer.

Contact the law firm of J. Bruce Weinman, Esq., and let us do the work for you.

Temporary, Permanent and Residency Visas

We handle three broad categories of visas: family visas, employment visas, and what we call "special" visas.

  • Family-based visas: The category of family visas is for individuals who wish to bring in foreign nationals who are relatives. Successful applicants receive a "green card" and obtain the status of permanent residents. Family members can obtain a permanent visa (immigrant visa) through the petition of an immediate family member of a U.S. citizen such as a spouse or child, or through the petition of a family member of a citizen or legal permanent resident in accordance with a list of family preferences.
  • Employment-based visas: There are categories for temporary visas (work visas) as well as employment based visas for permanent residence. Employers and potential employees may apply for employment visas. These include various occupations, including temporary workers (skilled and unskilled), trainee visas, intra-company transfers as well as visas for the spouses and children of these workers.
  • Special visas: The list of persons who fall under the special visa category includes religious workers, students and investors.

To find out which kind of visa may be right for you, and what the rules, restrictions, costs and fees are, contact the law firm of J. Bruce Weinman, Esq., today and speak with attorney Weinman.
